About us
The Feminist Macro Economics Alliance – Malawi (FEAM) is a women’s rights-centered coalition working to deepen the knowledge, capacity, and skills of young women and their allies to engage and influence macro-economic policies and frameworks including debt management from a feminist perspective to achieve economic justice for women in Malawi.
For Equlity on March 1st 2024 hosted a graduation ceremony for the Young Scholars Fellowship program, this marked a a great milestone in the Economic Justice sector. 9 young Malawian feminists produced 9 academic research papers, adding to the economic wealth and knowledge and analyzing macroeconomic policy from a feminist lens.
